They said that on Sunday traffic was allowed to move from Srinagar towards Jammu.

Earlier, authorities had suspended traffic movement on Srinagar-Jammu Highway after the retaining wall of a bridge at Kela Morh collapsed.

As an interim relief to connect the valley with the rest of the country, NHAI roped in BRO to launch the Bailey bridge at Kela Morh.

ADGP Traffic T. He said that on Monday, traffic will be allowed from Kashmir towards Jammu only as there are stranded vehicles in Kashmir and for tomorrow they will be allowed to move towards Jammu.

He further said that the restoration work on the bridge is going on and there will be strictly one way traffic on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
