Amid COVID-19, KU orders closure of varsity till April 28, postpones all exams till May 02

In view of surge in COVID-19 cases, the University of Kashmir (KU) on Sunday postpones all offline exams till May-02.

The news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) has leant that the KU administration has also ordered closure of varsity till April-28.

In an official communiqué KU said, “All PG and UG offline examinations scheduled till May-2 remain postponed in view of the prevailing circumstances, even the administration has decided to close the main campus till April-28.”

“The decisions to close the varsity and postpone the exams were taken after detailed deliberations over the prevailing circumstances,” it reads.

KU also said that the online classes shall continue to be held by the teaching departments. (KNO)
