The opening of Bailey bridge on Srinagar Jammu Highway has brought a big sigh of relief for people travelling on the road.

“BRO was asked to launch Bailey bridge, apart from essential supplies towards a valley which included, gas, petroleum, food, other important commodities stranded vehicles in Kashmir are also being allowed to move towards Jammu,” Namgyal said.

“The work on the bridge is going on at Kela Morh in district Ramban, and it will take some days for concrete to settle”, he told KNO.
